Commonfield have been at the forefront of Sliding Wardrobe manufacture for nearly 15 years. We have been product champions for AGC/Glaverbel decorative glass (the worlds largest glass producer) for over 10 years and were the first Company in the UK to introduce decorative glass into its sliding door range.

Many of the aluminium frame profiles used in both our hinged and sliding doors have been designed in house with the UK market specifically in mind…..this gives us a finished door product much better suited to the idiosyncrasies of the UK’s housing stock.

Much of our aluminium framing is now extruded in the UK which allows us to keep a keener eye on quality and respond to increases in demand or changes in specification far more quickly. Most of our glass comes from AGC in Zeebrugge and is made safe at the point of production by the application of a polypropylene safety film. All glass door output from Commonfield is safe to BS 6206 (class “B”) and the newer European safe standard of EN12600.
Having invested in cranage at one of our Dunstable factories we are able to bring in a glass sheet size of 3210mm x 2550mm which enables us to make any size of sliding door.

Doors, framework and interiors are all made by Commonfield in Dunstable which enables us to respond quickly to our Dealers to ensure that your bedroom is fitted and finished on time.
As a manufacturer we don’t sell direct to the consumer. Instead we use a UK wide network of independent fitted bedroom specialist Dealers who look after everything from the initial home consultation through to the installation itself.
